Itineary:
Day 1: Auckland
The gateway to your exciting journey to youthful New Zealand. Check-in
at the Mercure Hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.
Day 2: Auckland - Waitomo - Rotorua
Today's excursion takes you to the south, to the Bombay Hills which
signals the end of the sprawling city and the beginning of the lush
Waikato pasturelands. Here you'll stop in Hamilton before moving
on to the Waitomo Caves for a boat ride under an eerie canopy of
lights. In the afternoon, proceed to Rotorua where you will stay
at the Lake Plaza Hotel. *B*L
Day 3: Rotorua
This morning visit the Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve, the native
garden setting of Rainbow Springs and the Farm Show. The afternoon
is at leisure. In the evening enjoy a traditional Maori 'hangi'
dinner and concert held on a local Marae. *B*D
Day 4: Rotorua - Queenstown
This morning, fly to Queenstown where you will stay at the Copthorne
Lakefront Resort. *B*L
Day 5: Queenstown - Milford Sound
- Queenstown
Today drive to Milford Sound and enjoy the beautiful scenery as
your motor coach snakes around the mountains along the way. In Milford
Sound, take a boat cruise for the unforgettable views of Stirling
and Pembroke Falls that cascade into the Sound from over 500 feet.

Day 6: Queenstown
Today is free to relax and to marvel at the beautiful scenery. *B
Day 7: Queenstown - Mount Cook - Christchurch
This morning, continue your journey through Kawarau Gorge then onto
the Lindis Pass. The plains of Mackenzie Country lie before you
as well as the Southern Alps as you reach Mount Cook National Park.
Travel across Burkes Pass to Geraldine and Canterbury Plains for
your final stop in Christchurch. Stay at the Copthorne Durham Street
Hotel. *B
Day 8: Christchurch
This morning's sightseeing takes you through this garden city and
its beautiful suburbs. The afternoon is yours to explore or rest
at your leisure. *B
Day 9: Christchurch
This morning, head to the airport for your return flight home.
